Play and Learn is a three-level series designed to teach English to preschool children in a fun, engaging, and meaningful way.
Each book helps children develop age-appropriate skills through playful activities, exercises, songs, and poems that encourage natural language acquisition.
Play and Learn follows a communicative approach and a child-centered teaching methodology based on the following principles:
● Vocabulary development: New words are introduced through attractive and familiar pictures. Vocabulary is reinforced with language structures, allowing children to first internalize the information (silent period) and later begin to use single words and short, ready-made phrases (beginning-to-talk period).

● Meaningful practice: Exercises and activities are designed to help students strengthen what they have learned. Topics are interconnected so children can learn, practice, and review content simultaneously. Clear, easy-to-follow explanations support teachers in making English learning dynamic and interactive.

● Listening and pronunciation: Songs, poems, and visual-auditory exercises—available on the Coaching Trillas platform—enhance listening comprehension and pronunciation while reinforcing key vocabulary and structures.

● Assessment: A skills chart is included to help teachers monitor each student’s progress and evaluate the development of essential skills.
