How do you say ...? Teacher's guidebook. Fifth grade
How Do You Say…? Teacher’s Guidebook. Fifth Grade was designed to support teachers with their daily lesson planning. Developed from the authors’ experience as ESL instructors in primary schools in Mexico, it can help homeroom educators elaborate on their classes in a simple way.
The text is divided into 12 sections: one for each unit of the student’s workbook that builds a step-by-step weekly routine; another one with the audio transcriptions of all the tracks from the workbook; and an additional one with suggestions and guidance on what to do during the first days of class, in terms of classroom management and initial emotional connection with the students.
Each unit begins with the monthly objectives to be pursued for all the communication and language skills, as well as the suggested materials to be used. Each week of class is called a lesson, and it is planned to be worked on in a period of 3 to 5 hours per week.
Likewise, the text also presents the answers to all the exercises in the student’s workbook in order to offer teachers a support that allows them to review, in a more agile way, the activities carried out by the students.
