Graduate Profile

This course contributes to the formation of the graduate profile required for the formation of an increasingly democratic society with evident social justice. This graduation profile translates into the formation of conscious, critical citizens, capable of linking themselves with social, environmental, economic and political problems, participants in the practice of solidarity and sisterhood, who also put into practice their scientific, technological and general culture knowledge to insert themselves responsibly and productively in society.

To achieve the above, the academy will identify the fundamental and disciplinary knowledge of the program of this subject to be worked on in a transversal way in the contents of the units of this program, which must be recorded in the formats of didactic planning of the academy and the teacher's class plan, giving punctual follow-up from the collegiate work throughout the semester.

The graduation profile can be consulted in the Base Document of the BG, and in numeral 29 of the background of the opinion No. I/2024/253 of the CGU, through which the BG was approved. IV.


General Purpose

Communicate effectively by performing simple, everyday tasks that involve direct and simple exchanges of information about family or routine matters.

Specific Purposes

1. Compare the appropriate use of the present simple and the present continuous to describe activities in their daily life.
2. Relate experiences and stories in the simple past, continuous past tense, or present perfect, properly applying regular and irregular verbs, in addition to discerning when to use the participle of verbs.
3. Communicate orally or in writing in the different forms of the future: "will", "be going to", and present continuous.
4. Examine the grammatical structures of the present perfect and present perfect continuous tense to acquire the ability to use these verb tenses appropriately in everyday situations.



El programa oficial de inglés de nivel 6 del Bachillerato General de la Universidad de Guadalajara es un documento académico que orienta el desarrollo de las competencias lingüísticas esperadas para el nivel A2 del Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas. Su propósito central es capacitar a los estudiantes para comunicarse eficazmente en situaciones cotidianas mediante intercambios de información sencillos y directos.

El programa se organiza en cuatro unidades que abarcan los tiempos verbales esenciales para la comunicación básica: presente simple y continuo, tiempos pasados, formas de futuro y tiempos perfectos. Esta estructura permite a los estudiantes progresar gradualmente desde la descripción de acciones presentes hasta la narración de sucesos pasados ​​y la expresión de planes futuros, integrando al mismo tiempo funciones comunicativas clave.
