OVERVIEW

This book contains many aspects not addressed in Student Book2, and, at the same time,

reinforces the competencies and knowledge dealt with in it.


Even though each module is planned and designed to reinforce Student Book 2, new

competencies and new knowledge are boarded in a particular fashion.


The purpose of this book, apart from that of attaining the objectives set forth, is that of

teaching and instilling values in students, something that many books only touch in a marginal

way, or overlook absolutely.


Nowadays, we are living in a very violent, fast-paced, selfish society; where the spiritual side

of mankind is overlooked or ignored. We can´t live pretending that what harms or affects others

does not affect us. Therefore, we must teach our pupils that if we don´t love but hate, sooner or

later there will be a reaction or series of reactions that are going to cost us a lot.


We strongly counsel teachers to elaborate on the teaching of materials dedicated to values

and anti-values. It is a free ticket to a better education and to a happier life.

It is highly and strongly recommended, a must, I would say, that the teacher work on

awakening and developing superior knowledge competencies in students.


Teaching good habits and values to people is useless if they lack the attributes and virtues

of a critical spirit and the ability and foresight to guess the future or to suggest solutions to future

problems and if they don´t envision the development of phenomena and processes.


The student is the centre, the key element to elaborate on; but an extraordinary work of art

is the consequence of the craft, the knowledge, the ability, the dedication, the hard work, and

the commitment of the artist. The same applies to students and teachers. I strongly believe that

a good teacher can do miracles!

RESUMEN
Este libro contiene muchos aspectos que no se tratan en el Libro del alumno 2 y, al mismo tiempo, refuerza las competencias y los conocimientos que en aquel se abordan.
Aunque cada módulo está planificado y diseñado para reforzar el Libro del alumno 2, se abordan nuevascompetencias y nuevos conocimientos de una manera particular.
El propósito de este libro, aparte de alcanzar los objetivos establecidos, es enseñar e inculcar valores a los alumnos, algo que muchos libros solo tocan de manera marginal o pasan por alto por completo.
Hoy en día, vivimos en una sociedad muy violenta, acelerada y egoísta, en la que se pasa por alto o se ignora el lado espiritual del ser humano. No podemos vivir fingiendo que lo que daña o afecta a los demás no nos afecta a nosotros. Por lo tanto, debemos enseñar a nuestros alumnos que si no amamos, sino que odiamos, tarde o temprano habrá una reacción o una serie de reacciones que nos van a costar muy caro.
Recomendamos encarecidamente a los profesores que profundicen en la enseñanza de materiales dedicados a los valores y los antivalores. Es un billete gratuito hacia una mejor educación y una vida más feliz.
Es muy encarecidamente recomendable, imprescindible, diría yo, que el profesor trabaje en despertar y desarrollar competencias de conocimiento superior en los alumnos.
Enseñar buenos hábitos y valores a las personas es inútil si carecen de los atributos y virtudes de un espíritu crítico y de la capacidad y previsión para adivinar el futuro o sugerir soluciones a futuros problemas, y si no prevén el desarrollo de fenómenos y procesos.
El alumno es el centro, el elemento clave sobre el que desarrollar; pero una obra de arte extraordinaria es el resultado del oficio, el conocimiento, la habilidad, la dedicación, el trabajo duro y
el compromiso del artista. Lo mismo se aplica a alumnos y profesores. Creo firmemente que ¡un buen profesor puede hacer milagros!
