Este libro es el resultado de un diálogo fructífero entre culturas jurídicas, generaciones y perspectivas humanas. Nació de la colaboración entre el Centro Universitario de Tonalá de la Universidad de Guadalajara y un grupo de juristas y académicos estadounidenses, unidos por una convicción compartida: que el Derecho, para cumplir su propósito supremo, debe ser una ciencia viva, en movimiento, capaz de adaptarse a los desafíos de la tecnología, la justicia social y la dignidad humana.

This volume is not only an academic work; it is also a testament to
the power of international collaboration. It reminds us that knowledge,
when shared, becomes a bridge. It also reminds us that the legal traditions of Mexico and the United States can engage in dialogue without losing their identity and that from this exchange arises a deeper understanding of human beings and their aspiration for justice. At a time when science and technology are rapidly transforming reality, this work reaffirms that the Law remains, above all, a tool for protecting what is most valuable: human dignity.
