A world without ink
A World Without Ink is a dystopian and philosophical novel that explores the aftermath of a future where the written word has been forbidden. In a world that has silenced language as a form of control, humanity faces its deepest silence — the silence of thought itself.
The story follows several characters whose lives intertwine around the mystery of the “Afonium,” an event that erased both voice and ink from existence. Amid technological ruins and fractured memories, a small group strives to rediscover what it means to remember, to write, and to truly exist.
Written with a poetic and collective voice, the novel reflects on collective memory, the freedom of thought, and the cost of truth in societies ruled by fear and censorship. It is the second installment in the A New World saga, continuing the existential and introspective tone established in A World in Silence, but from a more visual, emotional, and revelatory perspective.
