My Paths Are Earthly, organized in collaboration between MUAC and the Fundación Tàpies, explores the work of the artist Marta Palau through a perspective that diverges from the chronological-biographical narrative that has shaped her publications and exhibitions. Instead, it establishes key themes and areas of interest such as exile, textiles, the body, magic, Latin America, naualli, and migration. Palau worked across a wide range of media—from printmaking and painting to ceramics and installation—but her work is primarily recognized for pioneering textile sculpture in Latin America. Her practice is marked by a strong interest in the materiality of natural fibers, indigenous and European magical traditions, and an anticolonial orientation.

Mis caminos son terrestres, organizada en colaboración entre el MUAC y la Fundación Tàpies, explora la obra de la artista Marta Palau con una perspectiva distinta al relato cronológico-biográfico que han definido sus publicaciones y muestras, al establecer temas y campos de interés como exilio, textil, cuerpo, magia, América Latina, naualli y migración. Palau trabajó en una multitud de medios, desde la gráfica y la pintura, hasta la cerámica y la instalación, pero su obra se reconoce principalmente como pionera del arte de la escultura textil en Latinoamérica, donde destaca su interés por la materialidad de fibras naturales y los campos de la magia indígena y europea, así como su orientación anticolonial.
