Reseña

Women in Applied Linguistics in Mexico: Giving Voice to Their Research consists of six chapters written by women who conducted their thesis research to obtain their Master's degree in Applied Linguistics in English Language Teaching (ELT) at the Department of Languages of the University of Guanajuato. These chapters address various issues of teaching English as a foreign language (EFL) in Mexico and applied linguistics, such as the teaching of idiomatic expressions, teacher professional identity formation, English as a medium of instruction (EMI) in a polytechnic university, the opinions of students regarding the content and language integrated learning (CLIL), and the students’ views of peer mentoring at the graduate level. This collection of chapters offers readers a condensed version of their respective theses using qualitative research in context.
