Reseña

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an area of computer science that has been developed for decades, specialized with problems that are thought to be difficult or complex by traditional computing. As many other fields, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Robotics benefit from the use of AI tools to solve complex problems. Yet, there could be even more benefits if there was specialized literature with examples that shows its usefulness.

This book provides the bases on AI techniques and offer solutions in modeling, pattern recognition, clustering, and many other problems. The text gives a comprehensive coverage of major AI techniques currently available to assist in HCI and Robotics.

This book also offers students, engineers and scientists an understanding of some of the powerful techniques used in HCI and robotics applications. This book includes two main AI topics: optimization and classification. Furthermore, it provides some examples on how they can be employed for robotics, used for medical applications or even used to set the human body as the controller.
